Ouray County Voter Information

 EXISTING VOTER: Confirm your voter information and Ouray County address are active and up-to-date.

 NEW OURAY COUNTY VOTER: Register to vote online.
You must have a valid Social Security Number, Colorado driver’s license or Colorado ID card to register online. If you are unable to register online, complete the paper voter registration form (PDF) and return it by dropbox or mail to the Ouray County Clerk and Recorder.

Important 2024 Election Dates

 GENERAL ELECTION: Tuesday, November 5, 2022
 Colorado’s November 5 General Election includes races for OURAY COUNTY DISTRICT 1 COMMISSIONER, OURAY COUNTY DISTRICT 3 COMMISSIONER, President of the United States, U.S. Senate, House of representatives, state legislative seats, and more. Voters will also decide on statewide and local ballot measures.
 OURAY COUNTY COMMISSIONERS are elected at-large. You can vote for one candidate for each commissioner district race on your ballot.
 Colorado does not have a registration deadline. Eligible voters can register and vote up to and including Election Day, Tuesday, November 5.
 Ballots must be received no later than 7 p.m. on Election Day, November 5, 2024.
 You can return your ballot to any 24-hour ballot drop box in Ouray County (see below for a list of locations) or by mail. If returning your ballot by mail, the last recommended day to mail it is Monday, October 28. Postmarks do not count. One first-class postage stamp is needed for each page of the ballot. (2 page ballots will need two first-class stamps.)
 In-person voting at the Ouray County Courthouse opens October 21. If voting in-person, you must be in line before 7 p.m. on Election Day.

 If you make a mistake on your ballot: You can obtain a replacement ballot by contacting the Ouray County Clerk’s office at 970-325-4961 or come to the Voter Service Polling Center at the Ouray County Courthouse, located at 541 4th Street, Ouray.
